SHEPRD™ supports protection operations with U.S. Army

    LMI is supporting the U.S. Army’s Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) modernization initiative to replace legacy systems with a unified, data-driven ecosystem scalable to division-level and higher echelons. During Ivy Sting 4, a series of exercises testing NGC2 technologies under operational conditions, SHEPRD™ was deployed and became operational in the Army’s IL6 (SIPRNet) environment. By delivering essential data in a cohesive view, SHEPRD™ enabled commanders and protection cells to make informed decisions while maintaining resilience in denied or degraded environments, demonstrating continuity of protection operations and the ability to align defense planning with the complexity of real-world conditions.
