LMI Expands Digital Transformation Efforts for DLA Defense Enterprise Data Standards Office

Tysons, Va.— LMI has been awarded a $9.4 million contract to continue functional and logistics systems interoperability support services for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Information Operations (J6), Defense Enterprise Data Standards Office (DEDSO). Under this contract, LMI’s subject matter experts support supply logistics, finance, electronic data interchange (EDI), information technology, and the e-commerce experience.

DEDSO plays a key role in the success and relevance of Department of Defense (DoD) digital transformation efforts. By transforming and streamlining data standards and business processes for key logistics systems, DEDSO facilitates full auditability, supports modernization, and enables essential interoperability. EDI plays an extensive role in DEDSO trading policies, supported by LMI’s expertise in EDI implementation and DoD logistics practices. LMI’s efforts support DEDSO's control and responsibility for logistics EDI exchange policies, which are unique due to business requirements for DoD logistics processes.
