Tysons, Va. — Today LMI announced their selection as a Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC) Test & Evaluation (T&E) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) awardee. The five-year, multiple-award agreement has a ceiling amount of $249 million. JAIC is the DoD organization responsible for developing and furthering artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities throughout the Department, with their AI capability delivery projects targeting cross-military services, departments, and specific DoD component or agency support needs.

The government-wide BPA will establish JAIC’s T&E standards, performance metrics, evaluation criteria, and best practices to facilitate automated testing of AI-enabled platforms. Under this award, LMI will provide test and evaluation capabilities to support the development of ethical and responsible AI systems across the DoD.

LMI has partnered with the JAIC since 2019, providing strategic communications support and delivering a multi-layered approach to outreach and stakeholder engagement that included coordinating the messaging for the release of the DoD’s summary of the AI strategy. Additionally, LMI is providing the JAIC with migration and sustainment services of DoD’s maintenance data as it transitions into Advana, the DoD’s big data platform.
